There is no requirement for General Education, so you are 100% focussed on your subject.  Here’s more information on the differences between the UK and USA systems, and here’s some info on how UK degrees are regarded in the USA.

International Students

Student visas are not available for this programme. However, it’s designed to be flexible: up to 80% can be completed in person within 180 days, with the remaining 20% delivered online — covering the academic content that’s less reliant on being physically present. This structure allows many students to attend via two 90-day visits on a tourist visa, depending on their nationality and where they wish to study. You can also choose to split your in-person study between two different locations if that suits your schedule or travel plans.
Please note we’re not qualified to offer visa advice, so you’ll need to do your own due diligence based on your circumstances and where you wish to study.
